The Great Jungle Journey was an enormous success, thanks to the support, prayers, and love of our church family. Throughout the week, volunteers came together to create a welcoming and engaging environment for all participants, sharing the teachings of Jesus through numerous activities like making snakes and planting seeds in crafts to playing water games and meeting new puppet friends. The highlight for many was creating and eating boats! The kids also had a blast learning motions, singing and dancing to Jungle Jam and The Manatee Song (I’m sure some of you are still hearing these songs in your sleep!)  Most importantly, the kids heard the Gospel through the teachings of the 7C’s: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, Consummation. With 53 attendees and 38 dedicated volunteers, Vacation Bible School was a great way for us to display John 13:35  – “Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”
