We have much to thank God for! Looking back at 2024 we have seen God bless us with new believers and members. We’ve met many new friends who have attended services, and the attendance at GPS has been wonderfully consistent. We’ve participated financially in planting churches here in Greenville and worldwide, and we’ve seen many of you grow in faith and communion with God. God is good!
I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us in the coming year! While we have much to celebrate, it is a certainty we will face new challenges and opportunities this year. It is so easy to settle for less than God’s best or to get distracted from the mission God has for us. We remember our purpose is to Glorify God by Making Mature Disciples of All Nations, starting here in the West End. We are not pursuing our comfort but God’s plan. We depend not on our strength but God’s power working in and through us. Like the Israelites in Canaan, we have been led to a place to serve God and make His name great.
The beginning of the New Year is a wonderful time to renew our covenant with God and to strengthen our commitment to glorifying Him in our worship, growth in grace and knowledge, service, and giving. I am trusting God to do great things in us and through us this year. I pray that we know God more than ever before, know and follow His will, and that our lives produce every kind of good fruit for His glory.
