Money should never keep you from going on mission. We have numerous testimonies that strengthen our faith in God’s promise to provide for our needs, particularly when it comes to being on mission with Him. It is also true that, like King David, “neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing.” (2 Samuel 24:24).
Trip Costs:
We are still developing the budget for this trip. Based on previous trips, we know the budget will include international travel costs, travel insurance, in-country travel and lodging costs, food and drink, ministry materials, gifts for hosts, and more. We anticipate a cost of approximately $2500.00 per team member. We will make every effort to minimize costs without jeopardizing the quality, effectiveness, or safety of the ministry.
Deposit and Contribution accounts:
A $100.00 non-refundable deposit is required with this application. Make check payable to West End Baptist Church. The $100.00 will go toward the cost of your trip.
- Each team member should contribute 10% of the cost of the trip out of pocket, though that may be adjusted for families of three (3) or more. (This includes the $100.00 deposit submitted with this application.)
- Deposit accounts will be set up for each team member. You are encouraged to make regular deposits into the account for your trip expenses. You are also encouraged to enlist a prayer/financial support team that may make contributions to your trip account. All contributions should be made through online deposits or checks made out to West End Baptist Church with your name in the memo line.
- If you are unable to participate in this mission trip for any reason, the monies donated cannot be refunded to you or your donors due to West End Baptist Church's non-profit status. All materials, including airline and other travel tickets, purchased with donated funds cannot be transferred outside of the trip.
- If your donations exceed your needs, the remaining money will be dispersed to other team members in need or used by WEBC for other costs related to this trip.
- WEBC will include Mission: Philippines 2025 in our 2025 Ministry Budget as well.
- This trip will require a current passport and optional immunizations. There may be opportunities for you to purchase souvenirs, personal meals apart from the team, and other tourist time events. These expenses are not included in the trip budget.
